Hello,
I would like to restore a former database; but Fortress asks for the SA password. There is no such account in any database (dbo ?), there is nothing obvious in the log; I don't even remember to have entered this password during install (from a fresh install, a SQL Server was not installed before required by Fortress). I've tried a password I frequently use, but it fails:
The Fortress Server could not establish a connection to the database. Please check the server's log for detailed information. (FailDBConn)
The log (message is in French sorry. It says the user is not associated to an approuved SQL Server connection):
----13/05/2008 17:32:16 admin--193.253.141.80(193.253.141.80)--SSL Disabled System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Échec de l'ouverture de session de l'utilisateur 'SA'. L'utilisateur n'est pas associé à une connexion SQL Server approuvée.
Database restore

The sa user is the default SQL administrator that is set up during the SQL installation and is for the entire SQL server, not a specific database. To use Windows authentication for restoring instead, you need to use your SQL Server Management Studio, or SQL Enterprise Manager (depends on version), to restore your database.
