SCC Provider

Post by poschdi » Mon Apr 28, 2008 5:52 am

We are using for our C++ development the texteditor slickedit. This provides an SCC interface. I can see that slickedit recognized the "Sourcegear Vault VS2003 compatible client". But then I try to initialize the Provider, slickedit always crashed without any errormessage. Only the Windows Vista default errorbox appear.

Does anyone used successfully sourcegear and slickedit?

I don't have any users whom have reported anything to me on this. It's not one we've tested.

Have you a idea how can I solved this problem?

I already tried to reinstalled the Client. Also I tried two older vault versions (4.0.4, 3.5.3) and the current slickedit version(V13) but nothing changed.

My system:
Vault Server/Client 4.1.1
slickedit 11.0.2
Windows Vista

My last try was to install the client and slickedit on a vmware session at WinXp. But nothing changed.

greets Florian

Interesting. I wasn't coming up with much for ideas, and I don't think I would have thought of that being what was the problem. Thanks for reporting back on what you found.
