We working on these types of binding issues, plus developing an app that can convert the bindings from VS 2003 to VS 2005. Hopefully, things will be less painful in future maintenance releases.

Project node count mismatch in Vault client v4.0.4

Post by lodestar » Wed Aug 29, 2007 3:08 pm

I am getting the 'Project node count mismatch' error in the v4.0.4 vault client for VS.NET 2005 when attempting to add a solution to source control.

I have attached my solution, which consists of only 2 projects, neither of which has any project files (I eliminated as much as possible from my original solution in order to be able to reproduce the error).

BTW, I am using a 30-day evaluation copy of the 4.0.4 Vault server and client.

Thanks for taking the time to reduce this to the simplest case. Having two projects in the same folder appears to cause this. I've logged a bug. The only work-around, in the mean time, is to put them in separate folders.
