Get from history in 4.0 fails - worked in 3.5.3

balcanuc: we've covered a lot of territory in this thread, so could you clarify which problem you're having?

The two issues seem to be:

1) get by label doesn't work correctly if you have an SOS 4.0 client and SOS 3.5.x server.

The solution is to use a 4.0 Client with a 4.0 Server. Or use a 3.5.x Client with a 3.5.x server if you can't upgrade to 4.0.

2) you have a 3.5.x server but the 3.5 Unix client won't work with new versions of Red Hat, etc.

The solution in this case is to email me for the source code for the SOS 3.5 Unix clients and you can compile them yourself with the new libraries.
