Problem in using SOS and VSS client together

hi,

we are using VSS client for some system located at one office and SOS client for some computer situated in India. all systme are using VS2002 as development tool.
Problme is that some times check in done by VSS client are not getting reflected in SOS client even after refreshing file list.
VSS server is up to date with all patches.

Are you using SOS Classic or SOS Collab?

Is the checkin of a file only, or has a folder been added as part of the checkin?

Does the SOS GUI Client show the checkout? When the file is check in by the VSS user and the file list is refreshed, what is the status of the file?

we are using SOS Classic.

we check in files only.

when the file is checked out from VSS client; it shows checked out in SOS GUI.

When the file is check in by the VSS user and the file list is refreshed, the SOS GuI also get refreshed with new status?

If the file is checked in by a VSS user, and you refresh the file list in SOS, the file should no longer appear checked out -- the red checkmark should be gone and there should be no username in the User column.

If the file does still appear to be checked out, is it possible that two users checked out the file and only one user has checked it back in?
