Sorting broken for 'Remote Date' (v3.0 Client)

Today we discovered a very serious (for us) problem in Vault 3.0 client: instead of sorting by Date the 'Remote Date' sorts the column as a string, which is not useful at all (9 is always on to, then 8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1,11,12). Does anyone know about this problem and is there a solution (without waiting for the next release)?

This bug was introduced for 3.0, and will be fixed very shortly in 3.0.1.
