Unable to do diff in V3.0, cause missing dll (msvcr71.dll)

Hi,

sounds like we need some microsoft stuff to be able to do diff in the new version of vault (3.0).

A dialog pops up with this information
sgdm.exe can't find component.

Can't find MSVCR71.dll.......

We have tried this on several machine's, none of the have .NET development environment installed.

Does the file, MSVCR71.dll, exist in your %windir%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322 directory? If so, simply copy the file over to the %programfiles%\SourceGear\Vault Client\ directory.

The file exists in the .Net directory you pointed out. It works when we copy it. We will be able to handle the situation until a new installation package is released

We're looking into the problem for a future Installer release, but I don't think anything will be ready for some time.

Until that time, copying the DLL into the Vault directory is the valid work around.
