List of files in Project, better with wildcards

Post by fierikit » Fri Nov 08, 2024 9:33 am

Hi
i have to get a list (Array?) of all files in a Project; better if i can search with wildcards (*.cls or so on)
this command seams OK but i don't know where is the result
GetOperations.ProcessCommandGetWildcard(diskPathBase, New String() {"*.cls"}, getOptions)

after getting that list i have to, for each file:
- CheckOut
- modify
- checkin

tks in advance

Thank you Sonya
for me the perfect solution will be to have 2 separated commands:
1) first get a list (Array?) of all files in the Repository for the Project; better if i can search with wildcards (*.cls or so on)
2) after get locally only that ones i desire
i explain: imagine i want to change in *.cls files all use of a specific code, but in 50 .cls files it is only in 4 .cls, is unuseful to get locally all 50
but anyway every solution you give me is appreciated

let me express another desire: you think the solution can arrive in which time? Is better for me to try a solution not involving Vault API?

have a nice day
Alberto
