Vault 3.0 and FinalBuilder 3.0

Wow Tate, you guys at FB are implementing the feature requests faster than I can think of them!

Right this minute I'm in the middle of a new post over at the FB forum listing the FB-Vault enhancements. The above is one of them so I can scrub this one off the list :-)

A couple of features that I've been posting over here is being able to obtain from the command line a list of files that self or other has got checked out plus to be able to obtain the status of a file. This is in anticipation of asking you guys at FB to add Vault actions that are equivalent to the ones you provide for source safe - "VSS Project Checkouts" and "VSS Check File Status".

Now according to the rather helpful Vault support team / developers you can already obtain the list of files that are checked out via the command line and then its the case of parsing this list to obtain the self / other check-out status. Obtaining the file status (eg Renegade) requires the guys at Vault to add this as a new command (which they said they've now added to their todo list).

Tate, assuming the aforementioned source safe actions is something you can add to the FB Vault actions (pretty please!) you'll want to check out the thread where I waffle on about the above topic and get succinct replies from the Vault guys http://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic.php?t=2348
