Upgrade Path 2.0.6 - 3.0

Hi there

A few questions about the upgrade path.

Firstly do you have any recomendations.

I will propababy have to do the upgrade with files still checked out.
Will the new v3 client be able to handle the upgrade and continue with the working files?

also are there any other traps i might fall into.

As you can guess, a day / couple hours with out source is a problem.

Yes, an upgrade will preserve checkouts, so that should not be a problem.

Just make sure you backup your database before you upgrade and make sure it works from one client before having everyone upgrade their clients.
