Hi folks,
We recently upgraded our Vault server and client and now our email notifications are no longer working. I asked our IT guy to get:
The Vault Server log is in %windir%\temp\sgvault\sgvault.log on the server machine.
The Vault Pro log is in %windir%\temp\sgvaultpro\vaultpro.txt
And the Vault Notification log is in %windir%\temp\sgvaultnotify\vaultnotifyservice.txt
I attached what he came back with. Any hints on what we need to do to get our email notifications for check ins and work item changes up and going again?
Thank you,
Tara

Re: upgrading Vault client and server knocked out email notifications
Hello,
Thank you for the logs. What happens when you attempt to access the following link from a browser?
http://127.0.0.1:443/VaultService/VaultService.asmx
Resetting IIS has been known to resolve this issue so I would recommend giving it a try.
We'd also like to see a screenshot of your Plugin dialog from within the admin tool. If you'd prefer, you can email it to support@sourcegear.com.
Thanks,
Bailey

Re: upgrading Vault client and server knocked out email notifications
Hi Tonya,
I get "This site can't be reached. 127.0.0.1 refused to connect."
We just tried and retested after an IISReset. That didn't help.
I will send screenshots via email. It might be worth noting that Work Item notifications ARE triggering emails.
Thanks!
Tara

This issue was resolved offline. Modifications were needed for the web.config file.
