Hi,
I am sure I've asked this before, but cannot find the thread.
We are using Vault between our desktop PCs and VMs. We are finding that items checked out to our local PC show as checked out to us on a different machine in the VM.
We check items out to a shared server and have the following settings:
Store Client Cache Folder:
In custom folder: \\reg2msdb0160\VAULT\dsalter2
Store working folder state:
In working folders.
Is there any way to allow the object to be checked out to me independent of the machine I am on?
Thanks.

Re: Computer Name dependency causing issues
Hello,
Can you please verify that there is only a single computer using that working folder?
If you are using a VM and the host operating system to work within the same exact working folder, Vault considers this the same as two different computers working against the same working folder and is an unsupported configuration. Working in this environment may lead to weirdness in any of the clients - check out inconsistences, incorrect file status, corrupt working folder caches, etc
Thanks,
Tonya
