sql server moved, error "specified cast is not valid&qu

We recently moved our vault database, I have 2 IIS machines configured to point to the new server.

I performed the exact same changes to web.config on both boxes. One box works fine, but the other one, our external web SSL gateway, gives me this error during login.

"Server was unable to process request. --> Specified cast is not valid."

What is wrong?

I found the problem, but the error message stemmed from the old database was still up and running, but it was in read only mode.
