I am trying to update a user's login but I am getting

Error:500
Error on request Users.aspx/EditUser
There was an error processing the request.

The user has logged off the client but in the admin page it shows he is still logged in.
Is this preventing the update? Is there a force logoff feature?

The user being logged in shouldn't prevent an update of the user's information.
Check the Vault server log found on the Vault server at %windir%\temp\sgvault\sgvault.log for any errors around the time that you tried updating. Is there anything listed?
Go to the users page where you were updating the user and check how many free compared to used licenses you have. What do the numbers look like?

Even I getting Error 500. I don't know how to rectify this problem but trying with guide available online.
