Accidentally deleted some source. Get history back?

Accidentally deleted some source. Get history back?
I accidentally deleted some source I didn't want too when I was cleaning up my repository. I was able to easily add the current code back to the respository but I lost all the history. Is there any way to get that history back?
Thanks!

If you deleted the files, you can recover them with full history. BTW, and Add will create a new object, with a single point of history.
From the GUI client, look at the Properties of the 'owner' folders. There is a 'Deleted Items' tab, from there you can undelete any previously deleted files. However, you'll need to make sure there are no naming conflicts upon recovering the files.

I'm using the version 7.2.1 gui client. I don't see the 'owner' folders. Where would I find that?

Right-click the folder that held the file that was deleted.

What if I've already added them back from a copy I had? Do I need to delete it again and then restore to get the history?

Yes. It's not possible to merge the two. You could either delete the added one, or you could rename it.

Thanks. I'll give it a try.
