SOS 4.0.2 Client crashes randomly

Hi,

I use a SOS 4.0.2 client on XP SP1 against a 3.5 SOS Server. The client crashes randomly when a interact between SOS and a web-based bug reporting and transmittal system.

My boss uses the 3.5 SOS client and this web-based bug reporting system with no trouble.

Can I unistall 4.0.2 and reinstall 3.5 without any repercussions?

Yes, you can uninstall the SOS 4.0.2 client and install the 3.5 client. Although SOS 4.0.2 can connect to SOS 3.5.3 servers, we don't recommend this for a long term solution as there are incompatibilities with certain operations, such as Get by Label. Plus you lose most of the new features and bug fixes if you don't have an SOS 4.0.2 Server.
