I am configuring a notification with a new email relay provider. Email settings are simple SMTP settings running under port options of: 25, 2525 or 587.
When I enable the SSL checkbox and test, I get errors:
Exception: The transport failed to connect to the server.
Inner Exception: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.
Inner Exception: The transport failed to connect to the server.
However, when the SSL is disabled, the test comes through fine.
This email service is using SSL enabled options with other 3rd party apps but I have trouble enabling it with Vault.
Is there anything else I should be looking into to get this to work with SSL enabled?
Thanks.
Email Notification Settings (SSL)
Re: Email Notification Settings (SSL)
Are your users using SSL with Vault?
I'll need to see the Vault server log found on the Vault server at %windir%\temp\sgvault\sgvault.log, and the Vault Notify log from %windir%\temp\sgvaultnotify\vaultnotifyservice.txt. You can post them here and remove them after we finish troubleshooting, or you can send them to support at sourcegear.com with a link to this forum thread.
