When I installed VS 2005 B1 I (succesfully) connected and got the latest version of some projects from my 2.0.4 database. I dont think I checked anything at all... Any chances I corrupted it?
And on the same lines... Is there a way to check my Vault DB's consistency?

If you installed .Net Framework 2.0 on your Vault server machine and then modified the repository in any way, then you will have corrupted the repository. The way to check this is to login to the GUI client and check the tree. If it loads, it is fine.
If you upgrade to Vault 2.0.6 prior to upgrading to .Net Framework 2.0, the Vault repository will be fine.
Installing VS2005 on your client will cause IDE integration to not work, and others have reported it corrupting client side state files. Generally, there are lots of problems with Vault and VS2005, so it isn't recommended you use it until we release a truly compatible version. You might be able to get the Vault GUI client to work well enough to use, but you definitely want to unbind any projects in VS to SCC before using it.
