Vault 9.1 Search Feature and Show Labels Feature Request

Search:
There is no way to search for files between dates. Please add a feature to filter by dates.
Sorting on Modified Date gives me an A-Z sort meaning that 8/1/2011 comes after 2/27/2016. This is all but worthless. When involving dates, should sort by YYYY then month, then date.

Just to see if it would give you what you want, try Show History and enter in a date range. You can add multiple filters to the Show History. You could search for a particular file in a data range or just check search actions in that date range or even filter with comments.

On the search on a date range, do you mean check in date or some other date?

I've logged the sorting on the labels for the developers.

Another idea if you need a way to pull out the changed files is to try out our Folder Changes Archive found in the Vault Tools menu.

I passed along the info to the user. Search history seems to be good enough for now. We' really like to see the date filter incorporated in the search function which you guys did a lot of work to upgrade in v9. The search function is much improved over v8 but the date filter would make it almost perfect.

Thanks for logging the Show Label's request. We use it so often that being able to sort would be a big help.

Are you needing to Get the files once found or is it just to see the list?
