Checked in a database to the Vault. I then ran a program to reconnect the tables to a new ODBC source. It works by renaming the table part way through the process. Only I typed in a wrong ODBC - mispelt table name - and it crashed. Had to do an end process on Access.
Now I can see the renamed table but I can't rename it back to what it should be as Vault says "The new name cannot be used..." Only it isn't I can't see the thing anywhere in Vault. Help much appreciated !

Are you sure the error message about the new name is coming from Vault? This error message is not familiar to me.
Vault works on file system files, so if you are using an Access database, it would only store the .mdb file, and would not know anything about what is inside the file. You might check the Vault GUI client to verify this.

Error Message
The error message is an Access message. I can see why it is happening, after all my program did crash. But the issue is not the message but how to see if the item is in the Vault or not. The client tool shows all the forms, queries, macros but I can't see the "other" stuff, ie linked data. It is a linked table that is causing the problem. Thanks.
