Hi,
We have been using Vault 5 for a number of years without issue. Unfortunately the server on which it is on is at end of life and slowly dying. We have therefore built a new server and purchased Vault 8.
I restored the vault database onto the new server (Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard with SQL Server 2014 Standard), then ran the server installation, all seemed to go ok (eventually)...
however whenever we try to access the web interface to enter the license keys we get the following:
HTTP Error 503. The service is unavailable.
We have not yet tried to the client software as I wanted to ensure everything else is working first.
Please advise?

problem solved...
was a password issue with the account i'd set it up to run under.
all seems ok for now.
