Disable check in to a folder

We're currently migrating code to a new folder within Vault.

Is there a way to prevent code check in in the older folder?

You can change the rights to a folder to be Read-Only and that would prevent Check Ins. You can find Folder Security in the Vault admin web page under the repository name on the left.
