Dynamic reloading in VS2008

Just updated to Vault Pro 8.0.0.30192.

If I try a Get Latest via the Enhanced Client in the VS2008 IDE I get a message regarding dynamic reloading not being supported for an open file. The output from the command is as follows:

[12/01/2015 02:23:13 PM] Getting latest version of files
[12/01/2015 02:23:13 PM] The following files are open in an editor which does not support dynamic reloading:
CAD.vcproj

This is the first time I am seeing such a message with regard to any files and we've been using Vault since 2006.

Are you getting a pop-up message box or is that message showing up in your output window?

Was anything modified at the time that you performed a Get Latest?

I get both messages and nothing was modified at the time.

We did add a dialog to warn users when someone else makes a change that Vault can't load it in the resource view. Did other users make any changes?

There were no changed files at all and I hadn't opened the project resources (we know about the problem reloading a changed rc file).

What kind of project do you have with the issue? Did the project file (.csproj, .vbproj, etc) have any changes at the time you performed a Get? What about the .sln file?

One of our developers is coding a change now that should change how this behaves. I expect it to be in Vault 8.0.1.

Vault 8.0.1 will be releasing later this afternoon and it has what we coded for a fix. Give that a try.
