Folder impot\export

Post by GrahamLabdon » Wed Jun 11, 2014 4:28 am

Hi
I am using the Folder Export/Import tool and I am having some problems with particular folders
With these folders I get an error dialog with the following text

'An exception occurred processing a transaction for the folder.
The export cannot continue. Object reference not sent to an instance of an object.'

I have no idea what this means and would appreciate some help to resolve this matter.

Thanks

Have you obliterated in this repository?

Can you run a normal History query on $/ for Obliterate operations. Within $/ you can invoke the history dialog (holding down the shift key if necessary), and on the "Actions" tab, uncheck all items except "Obliterate", and run the query. Do you see any Obliterate items in the history results?

It really all depends. Sometimes obliterate can remove data from history which the folder export needs to find. You might want to try different export options with the labels and not exporting deleted items to see if you can work around the missing data.
