Hi,
I'm evaluating SourceOffSite using VSS 6.0c. Last week, I could log in just fine. This week I can not and am getting the above error message. Since last week, I have installed 2 other products which I am also evaluating and originally I had some port clash issues - but these are resolved.
Attached is the complete log file for today's attempts.
Any ideas?
Thank you,
Jeremy Pope.

What were the other 2 products you installed?
It appears as if something may have happened to your SourceSafe Automation component (which the SOS Server uses). Enable verbose logging and then email me the log file after you try to login again.

Attached is an updated log file with the extra information within it.
I have also tried de-installing and re-installing SourceOffSite but I get exactly the same messages.

Yea, the log file shows that the exception is occurring during the database open, so it appears to be a problem with your SourceSafe installation on the SOS Server machine. Reinstalling SOS will not correct the problem.
What were the other two products you installed? I'm wondering if one of them caused the problem.
