System.InvalidOperationException: This SqlTransaction has co
Hi,
I am getting this in our Vault log and initially I am looking for an explanation to what could be the cause.
----21-02-2014 07:18:01 read_only--robot17.pdc.xx(10.117.68.145)--SSL Disabled System.InvalidOperationException: This SqlTransaction has completed; it is no longer usable.
at System.Data.SqlClient.SqlTransaction.ZombieCheck()
----21-02-2014 07:18:06 Hans_Olav_Nymand--vm-eminental.pdc.xx(10.117.68.52)--SSL Disabled System.InvalidOperationException: This SqlTransaction has completed; it is no longer usable.
at System.Data.SqlClient.SqlTransaction.ZombieCheck()
In both cases the relevant operations were performed using the Vault command line client. No GUI client or VS Integration was involved.
Note #1:
We are running Vault 7
[21-02-2014 08:47:25] Version Check: This Vault Standard client is version 7.1.0.2028
[21-02-2014 08:47:25] Version Check: Your Vault Standard server is version 7.1.0.2028
Note #2:
This may relate to a number of previous issues reported from Prolog Development Center A/S - or it may be a completely independent problem.
Best regards,
Hans Olav Nymand

It would help to see more of the log. I've seen the errors you've posted after other errors that were the real cause of the issue. Might also occur after an operation that can't be completed.
Could you send an email to support at sourcegear.com (attn: Beth) with a link to this forum thread?

I can't find an email for this. Can you send it again?
Is the attachment very large? If so, then I can send you instructions for FTPing the log to us.

OK, just sent it again with subject:
Att: Beth - RE: http://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=22085
There is no attachment, I just pasted part of the log directly in the mail - which is 1MB size.
FTP would be no problem...
Best regards,
Hans Olav

If you did send the mail already there's something very wrong somewhere - because I haven't received it.
If it doesn't arrive later today I suggest we use FTP.
Regards,
Hans Olav

Hi Beth,
Thank you for the answer, which I received only now some 9 hours after you sent it – maybe your mailserver and/or ours are simply overloaded.
I’ll look into the problems you described.
Best regards,
Hans Olav

Just a follow up to this ticket for other people that may read it. We think we may have a fix for Hans that will be released in Vault 7.2. Hans will let us know if there's any problems after that release.
