Server unavailable for transaction end

Post by Guest » Fri Feb 20, 2004 10:59 pm

Hello,
I have my server running, my client connecting through two firewalls.
Unfortunately, when I try to create a folder for a project, I get the message, "Server unavailable for transaction end".
Here's the whole trancscript from the client's message window:
---------------------------------------
Preparing data to begin transaction
[2/20/2004 11:54:08 PM] Beginning transaction
[2/20/2004 11:54:08 PM] Create folder $/Proj
[2/20/2004 11:54:08 PM] Ending the transaction
[2/20/2004 11:54:08 PM] Server unavailable for transaction end
[2/20/2004 11:54:08 PM] Transaction failed
[2/20/2004 11:54:08 PM] Transaction failed
---------------------------------------
Thanks for any advice on what's going wrong...

Thanks, I have already set that registry entry (DontUseChunked...) to true.
I looked in the server log and found "Failed to load Msxml2.dll". I copied that from another computer, and Vault seems to be working.

I get the same problem, and I even copied msxml2.dll in the WinNT\System32 directory.

The log also just says "failed to load "msxml2.dll", and then FailDBInsert

Any ideas what can go wrong?

I'm running on Windows 2000 Server SP4
