Email Notification

Recently i started using the new version of Vault Professional 6.1 and i enabled the email notifications as they appeared to be a good solution reporting on changes that have happened compared to what i had to do in the past of going to show history for 7 repositories. However instead of getting the individual comments on stored items I only get the Group Set Comment which based on what I have seen can only entered if you check-in an item. Is there any way to have the individual comments and not the group comment sent? If not is there a way that when some one adds a new file(s) to add in a group set comment at that time (currently the comment field only sets the individual comment)

Vault Notifications currently include Changeset (checkin) comments, but not Item (checkout) comments.

There's no way currently to show the checkout comments in notifications, but I've logged feature request 16840 for this functionality. It will be considered for a future release of Vault.
