Vault Professional 6.10 GUI - Get Latest Button Greyed Out

Hello! We have just upgraded to Vault 6.10 from 4.14 (Thanks for all of your help with that!) I and some other users have noticed that sometimes in the Vault GUI the buttons for Label, Delete, Get Latest, Check Out, Check In, UnDo Check Out, Share and Branch are greyed out and unavailable. It only happens when we select a specific file and not all of the time. Even when the buttons are greyed out, you can still perform all actions by right clicking on a file or using the commands under Source menu. Once you do a get latest (or any other command) then the buttons are no longer greyed out. When the GUI gets into this mode, all of the files in a project are greyed out. I have also noticed that just switching to another program and then switching back to the Vault GUI will allow the buttons to go back to active.

We are running the Client on Win 7 Professional. Vault Client/Server 6.1.0 (30531)

Thanks for the report. There does seem to be an issue with some of the buttons losing focus.

We have bug 16756 logged and we hope to fix this in Vault 7, due out later this year.

Thanks for the update Linda. I'd prefer a fix to the 6.1.0 client if at all possible. (At least one that does not require a coordinated server change) We have a lot of remote users around the world and it is always difficult to get everyone to update at the same time.

We're currently working on Vault 7.0, so we'll try to put the fix in that version.
