In VaultPro 6, the Save Items feature allows you to save Work Item query results as a tab separated value (tab) file. This data can then be used in a spreadsheet or other type of application to create reports or for data analysis.

Save Items appears in the Action Bar at the bottom of a Work Item query results page. The Save Items function is available for user-generated queries, as well as built-in queries, such as Open, My Open, Summaries, etc.

Clicking on Save Items offers two options: Save Selected Items and Save All Items.

Save Selected Items
To save only selected items, check the items in the query results which you wish to save, then click on Save Selected Items.

Save All Items
Click on Save All Items to save all items in the query result.

Your browser will download a .tab file to view or save to the local machine.

Note: this function exports the query results, not the contents of the bug details. You can customize the fields show by clicking on View->Customize on the right side of the black separation bar.
