Hi all,
I'm having a problem with Vault. Vault is used by multiple developers in our office. All developers exept me see a folder in the tree view of the vault client. I have tried clearing the cache as described here. Removed the cache directory, did an iis reset and even rebooted the server but still having the problem. When I use the web client I can see the directory. Does anybody have an idea what is going on?

Directory not showing in client

Re: Directory not showing in client
Is folder security enabled? Is it possible you don't have permission to see that folder? I'm not sure that's it, since you can see it in the web client, but it won't hurt to check.
This still sounds like a cache issue. Instead of going through the steps in the KB article, let's try a less fine-tuned clearing of the cache. Close any clients on your client machine, including Visual Studio. Then rename the Vault_1 folder in your user local settings.
Now log into the Vault server. Do you still not see the folder?

Hi Linda,
I did try removing the Vault_1 folder and then iis reset. The Vault_1 folder is recreated correctly but the missing folder is still not there...

Re: Directory not showing in client
It looks like there may have been some bugs in earlier versions involved that enabled users to see items in the Web client but not in the Vault client. So I would suggest checking folder security to see if you have access to that folder.
Some more things to try:
Can another user login from your machine and see that folder?
Can you login with the Vault client on a different machine and see that folder?

Re: Directory not showing in client
When I log in on another machine I don't see the folder.
When somebody else logs in on my machine he does see the folder.

Re: Directory not showing in client
Have you (or the Vault Admin) checked folder security? Do you have permission to see that folder?
This setting is in the Admin Web Client under Source Control Repositories->(Repository name)->Folder Security.
