Dear Sir or madam,
after reading the release notes of 6.0.1 we decided to upgrade our 5.x vault server to 6.0.1.
Now we are facing the fact, that our VS2003 c# projects can't be used with vault anymore. This is a huge problem for us, because we can't just upgrade the code to .net2, since the customer system is running on .net 1.1.
Of course you may have your reasons, but this is a important point which should be in the release notes (http://sourcegear.com/vault/releases/vaultpro/6.0.html).
What are you sugguesting? Vault 5.x Client is neither compatible to Vault 6.x Server

Re: Hidden ending VS2003 support
Thanks for your feedback.
We had a link to the compatibilty chart in our release notes, but it wasn't clear enough. We've added specific information that integration with VS 2003 does not work in Vautl 6.0 becauses of .NET Framework changes.
Even though integration doesn't work you can still do source control operations with the Vault GUI Client, like add, checkout, checkin, get latest, and continue your development in VS 2003. Point the Vault GUI Client working directory to the location of you VS 2003 project.
