Problem configuring with router ADSL modem

Hi,

I can't find information about my problem :

We have 3 PC plugged in a 4 ports ADSL router modem.
The SourceOffSite server is installed on one of the three PC.
Each PC has a static IP we have defined for our LAN.
The modem receive a dynamic IP from our Internet provider.

We have unblocked the 8888 port on the modem but with the SourceOffSite Client, we can't access the PC which runs SourceOffSite Server through the modem.

Is it a modem or SourceOffSite configuration problem ?
Is someone able to help us ?

When SOS users connect to the SOS Server, they connect with a port number and an IP address that is exposed to the Internet. If network traffic is coming in through the modem and the modem does not have static IP address, then that could be the problem. They would have to change their connection string every time the IP address changed. Then you'd need to use Network Address Translation to direct the traffic to the IP of the SOS Server machine.

Can you connect to SOS Server using an SOS Client on the server machine? Use "localhost" for the servername. If it connects, it means SOS is working, and the problem is a network issue.

We do know of a few users who utilize the free service from http://www.no-ip.com/ to produce a static address for client users to connect to. We're not affiliated with them in any way and can't officially recommend them, but we have had a number of positive reports.
