Comments on folders

Hi,

I am a Vault newbie.

How can I set the Comments for a folder. Help from the "Properties" dialog claims it is done during creation of a new folder, but when I create
a new folder I can only choose the folder name.

To do this, you would have to set Tools->Options->Check In->Auto Commit After Each Operation to off. Then when you do a Create folder operation, it does not happen immediately, but puts it in the pending chagne set. You can then commit the operation and when doing so, add a comment to the transaction.

In an upcoming release, we will also have the ability to edit comments after they have been entered.
