Can't connect to Vault from Different domain

We are testing out our builds and have create a Virtual Machine (VM) in a different domain.

The VM is Windows server 2008 R2.
When we launch Vault client, and try to login (a) using FQDN or (b) IP Address. we get this

Unable to connect to http://XXX/VaultService. No server was found at the specified URL. Please verify your network settings using the Options dialog under the Tools menu in the Vault GUI Client. Web Exception: Unable to connect to the remote server

Any ideas on what else to try?

Note: I know the credentials are correct as I tried them on a different domain and they work.

Open a web browser on the Vault Server machine and connect to:

http://XXX/VaultService

Try "localhost" or the Vault server machine IP or FQDN

Does that bring up the Vault Service home page?

Can you connect to http://XXX/VaultService from a web browser on one of the Vault Client machines?

If you can't connect with a web browser, a Vault client won't be able to connect either, and this is most likely a network or IIS issue.

Is there a firewall blocking the connection to the URL from the client machine? Is a router, proxy, etc. causing a problem connecting to that URL?

We are good. Its internal to our network and how we have trusts, DNS and firwalls set up.
