VS2012 - Enhanced Client Plug-in missing

We just installed VS2012 and Sourcegear standard v6, but one of has the enhanced client to select for source control plugin and the other does not? Any ideas why it would be missing? Already tried re-installing Sourcegear client.

Did you install Vault after VS 2012? Vault has to set some registry keys for VS to see it.

When you re-ran the install, were you just performing a repair, or did you perform an uninstall and a re-install? Try a full uninstall of the client and a reinstall if you haven't already.

What is the OS of the machine you are installing on?

we ran a repair, I'll tell him to un-install and redo it and see if that does it.
Windows 7, 64 bit

my partner here with the problem, did the uninstall, re-install and that seems to have fixed his plugin problem,
but now we can't get the solution into SourceGear properly. Its just a total mess now. We have tried probably 5 times now. Its like all the files get into SourceGear, but only half of them are recognized in VS as being under source control???? UGH!

It was a directory problem, there were extra directories under the solution which I removed and now things are fine. I found some description of this problem within the forums which helped me out.
