I've just installed the SourceOffsite Server and Client, and I'm having problems. When I try to connect to the server, after entering username/password I receive an error message saying: "Could not connect to the SourceSafe database."
In the error log i have this:

I have tried to install both the server and the client on my local machine, and it works. I also could connect to another machine... just not on the local server here.
Anybody has any ideeas ?
Thanks !

Are you using the same SourceSafe database, even though you have different SOS Servers?
On the SOS Server where access is denied, it's possible the account used by the SOS Server service doesn't have adequate permissions to access the VSS directory or the database.
Check to see how the server service and Server Manager configurations differ from machine to machine to determine what might be different in the machines from which the SOS Server works and doesn't work.
