Is there a maximum file size that can be stored under vault

There is a limit, but it is mostly determined by your IIS settings and the resources you have available on your server. If you could get more than 1.8 GB past IIS, then you wouldn't be able to get more than 2 GB into one cell of a SQL table.

If the file you are trying to upload is under 1 GB, then the settings to start with are:
1) Try using Chunked Encoding found in the Vault Tool - Options - Network Settings.
2) Increase the IIS Upload Limit in the Vault Admin web page under Advanced Settings.

If there are errors uploading, check both your Vault Server Log and your Vauld Client Log.

I have set both items; IIS File Upload Limit is 1048576. I have set chunked in Tools | Options | Network. I am still unable to upload a file of size 118329344 bytes. Now what do I do?

What kind of error are you getting? Are you getting a timeout?

I restarted the Vault client and it then worked fine. I had trouble with a file larger than 1GB but I removed that file and it worked. btw, how would I check in a large file?
