I have a user that is getting the attached error messages when trying to load a project in Visual Studio. No files are loaded into VS and the solution is unbound to Vault. The Vault Client works just fine. Problem seems to be limited to VS/Vault integration. I do not know at this time if this user has other projects are bound to Vault in VS
VS2008
Vault 5.1.2
Windows Vista or 7

Re: Problem With Vault/VS Integration
It looks like the user is trying to use the Enhanced Client but the project is bound to the Classic Client.
Is it possible the user has a solution where some projects are bound to the Enhanced Client and some to the Classic Client?
Look in the user's Visual Studio under Tools->Options->Source Control->Plugin Selection. When opening the project has failed, what plugin selection is listed?
