Hi,
Vault Version 5.1.2 (19281).
We are using Labels in our night build. Each build first label the branch and then gets the latest version using that label.
At the beginning, creating a label took reasonable time (few seconds) but now, after we have 200~300 labels in the repository, We found that creating the label takes 1.5 hours!
Can anyone suggest what's wrong?
Thanks,
Ehud

The first thing I would suggest is to run maintenance on your sgvault database. See the "Database Health" section of this KB article:

Hi Linda,
Thank you for your answer.
I executed CHECKDB and DBREINDEX for sgvault (see attached files) but labeling still takes 1.5 hours.
Other suggestions?
Thanks,
Ehud

We'd like to see a copy of the Vault Server log during the time the label is being applied.
It's called sgvault.log and is in %windir%\temp\sgvault on the server machine.
Send the log zipped up to support at sourcegear.com attn: Linda. Include a link to this forum post.
