Our Vault has evolved over the years and we are now up to 80 repositories.
I have 30 developers.
Management has asked me to give all 30 developers read only access to "all 80" repositories.
While I can do this manually for each developer, I was wondering if there was an easire way.
I am using Vault 5.1.1
Thanks

How to Grant Read Only Access

Re: How to Grant Read Only Access
Do you want the default to be read-only and then you would give modify rights to specific users?
Or do you want the 30 users to have only read rights? (If so, how will they modify code . . .?)

Re: How to Grant Read Only Access
I was just looking for a "global" setting that would give all developers Read Only access to all repos.
What I did was modify each user's defaul setting. And while this worked it took some time to repeat it 30 (number of developers) times.
THanks

PS Yes for those REPOS that developers need RCA rights, we are set up. We just wanted to open up (Read Only) the other repos to all developers as (RO).
