Item Tracking and Unresolved Items
Item Tracking and Unresolved Items
On the Item Tracking, why is it that when I move an item to "Completed", those items appear under "Unresolved" on the web interface? Shouldn't they appear as "Resolved" or something like that instead? I think I'm just confused about the concept, can someone clarify that for me please? Thanks!
Re: Item Tracking and Unresolved Items
In Vault Pro, Completed means the developer has finished work on the work item. However that work still needs to be verified, usually by the Resolver, or QA.
The tester then does some regression testing and either marks the bug "verified", which closes it, or resets it to "open" with comments on what failed and it returns to the developer.
A Closed item is one that is Verified - an item that has passed through testing, and the tester is confident that the item has been addressed and nothing else has been broken in the process.
