Hello,
I am using Vault Client 2.0.2 (Build 2163) on a WinXP Pro SP2 Box with all updates applied, VS.NET 2003, etc. P4, 2.8GHz, 512MB Ram.
I have tried, with little success, to figure out how to revert a source tree to a previous version. Source tree currently has version 125. I want revert back to make version 120 the latest version on the trunk of that source tree.
Basically a rollback operation on a set of changes. This seems like something that should be simple to do. Maybe I am missing something here but there seems to be no easy way to do this. I can see and retrieve the code I want using the History Explorer by version. Yet I can't seem to find a way to make that version the latest.
Some help would be appreciated.

Reverting to a previous version????????

Sorry - Vault doesn't have a rollback to a previous tree version yet.
You easily get the version you want from the history by version dialog. This will make all the files that have changed since the most recent change to have their status revert to Old, and you can view which ones they are in the Search pane. However, if you try to check them out, they will be overwritten with the latest version since they are considered not modified. You would have to change the date on each file and then do a checkout and specify not to overwrite modified files for each file.
Sorry it is such a pain. I believe we have this as a feature request already, but if not, I'll add it.
