Folder Content Lost

Dear Vault Support

We're facing a situation right now with a folder.
In our folder structure, we have one folder where we store all our common code and the other folders share files with this one. Due to an unknown reason, this folder's content was lost. We don't even know what happened. Its content was replaced by the content of another folder with the same name but it is located in another path.

Our question is: Is there a way where we can get the previous content of the affected folder? via database or with a tool?

To ilustrate better my question

This is the affected folder:
$/Folder Master/Folder 1/ Foler 1.1/Common
The content of this folder was replaced by this one with the same name
$/Folder Master/Folder 1/ Foler 1.2/Folder 1.2.1/Common

Take a look at the history of the folder. Is the previous content present in the history? If so, then you might try rolling back the entire folder to the version that had the correct contents.

It's possible that what could have happened is a user set their working folder to the wrong location and checked in.

I'm able to see the history of the folder but it's showing me the history of the folder with the content that the affected folder was replaced with. I would like to recover the previous content that was present in the affected folder, if possible
