When are we going to see v6?

I'd love to see better use of background and parallel ops to speed things up. It concerns me not seeing updates or any activity with Vault for a very very long time. I'm sure the effort must be on that new project, whatever it's called, but I'm concerned if I need to be moving to a different system instead of paying for maintenance that's not yielding any activity as a result. At some point you have to wonder if it's really something worth renewing, that's where I am.

Yes, we're working on Vault version 6. We'll have Find in Files, event notifications, Mac Client, integration with SQL Server Management Studio, bug fixes and more.

When is it projected to release. We can "work on" something for years and that's not enough to keep me around as a renewing customer.

We'll have a Preview release in January, with all the key features mentioned above. Final release will depend on feedback from the Preview.
