Hi Folks,
Working collaboratively with a group, we constantly send IM's to each other with code locations - it would be extremely helpful if we could have a simple "Copy Path" entry added to the right click context menu in the Vault Client, that would provide a relative path to the file in question, i.e. $/SomeDir/SomeOtherDir/AnotherDir/GeezSomeOtherDir/somefile.ext added to the clipboard.
Right-click -> History -> gets me to what I want, but that is slow.
Right Click context menu

Re: Right Click context menu
Thanks for the suggestion!
I've logged feature request 16057 for this functionality. It will be evaluated for an upcoming release of Vault.
Note that if a file is checked out, you can right click on the entry in the pending change set and select "Copy." This gives you more than just the path, though.
Also, Vault 6 will feature event notifications that can help keep your team up to date:

Re: Right Click context menu
When viewing a file or folder's properties, you can right-click on the "Name:" field (General tab) and copy the path from there. It's a few more clicks, but it's available now!
"Properties" is available from the File menu or context menu. Alt+Enter works too.
Your suggestion is good, nonetheless.
