1G of Ram; SQL Server is present but turned off.
When I turn off 4.0.2 and put 3.5.3 back on, the files can check in without a problem.
This is, as you can imagine, a huge problem: the biggest files we have are the entity-relationship design tool files on which all our work is based.
thanks,
Hank Fay

I can use 3.5 to do the checkin; but we only have V4 licenses to cover the company (which got dispersed by Hurricane Charley, so we went from a partial 3.5 SOS installation, to an "everyone on SOS" V4 installation in 1 day).
If you need access to the system to see what is happening, you have my information on file; look for Fay in zipcode 34108.

Problem Fixed with .NET 1.1 SP1
After finding that I could checkin/add that same file to another SOS database on a Win2K3 machine, I updated this server (out last NT4 server) to .NET 1.1 SP1, which appears to have fixed the problem.
Thanks for your quick responses.
Hank
