Retreiving an empty project from SS using SOS

Post by Dave » Thu Sep 09, 2004 12:36 pm

Hi,

I'm trying to retreive an empty project from SS using SOS and I can't seem to get it working.

I have a project for example

+Root
---- folder 1 (contains n files)
-------- subfolder 1 (contains x files)
---- folder 2
-------- subfolder 2
-------- subfolder 3
---- folder 3
-------- subfolder 4 (contains t files)

what i'm trying to do is retrieve 'folder 2' only and since folder 2 and it's subholders don't contain any files what so ever, the subfolder don't get created.

Is there anyway to retreive such a project so all my 'empty' folders are also created in my working dir specified at commandline w/ SOS?

have tried GetProject/GetProjectTree, nothing there (or i am not using it properly)

thanks,
Dave

Hi Dave:

This is a known bug in the SOS command line client and is slated to be fixed in the next release (4.1).
