Change in selection behavior in pending changeset

Post by asteingart » Thu Oct 27, 2011 1:42 pm

I just installed 5.1.2.19281 and I'm finding the change in selection behavior to be very unhelpful.

When I'm preparing a check-in I was previously able to diff each item and then check it off. In the new interface, it doesn't seem possible to diff an item without unchecking everything that was checked before. I know there was some confusion before due to the different types of selection, but when I select the option to use check boxes, I would expect checked items to remain checked. I guess this falls under the category of "you can't make everyone happy", but I would like an option to make the check boxes sticky (unless I've missed something).

Did you upgrade from Vault 5.1.1 or some other version?

I checked it out and see what you mean. I can put in a feature request to change the behavior.
