VBA solutions and Vault

My organization has several large VBA projects that we dont have time to port at the moment and development is still ongoing. Previously developing and using these solutions at the same time have created quite a lot of problems regarding source control. We have been unable to effectively use SourceGear Vault to host any of them, so I was hoping that you might have some method to do so. Specifically we are most concerned with a large Access solution. Any thoughts on how we can use Vault to contain a VBA Office solution?

We don't officially support Vault integration with Microsoft Office, although we do have a work around for users wanting to integration with MS Access. Email me at support at sourcegear.com, Attn: Linda and I'll send you the info. Please include a link to this forum post.

I've looked for ways to integration with VBA project for Word, but haven't found a workaround. Have you tried using the Vault standalone client for source control ops, and still do your development in VBA?

We have tried essentially hosting the mdb file (Access) in source control, and checking it out, making changes and whatnot, but there is no way to do a diff and see code changes or to merge a branch in. We also tried making a macro that would export all of the forms, modules, classes, table definitions, etc out of the project and into VBA module files, but this was very error prone and did not always work out (i.e. in some instances, importing the class or whatever back in would cause some kind of Microsoft Office exception, and the Access file would become unusable).
